Apps to Create Animated Videos from your Smartphone

There was a time when we all used to love watching animated movies and shows on TV but now, we all are young and we should think about questioning how to? behind everything. We all have smartphones which we use for various purposes like chatting on social media, watching movies and listening to songs, tracking our health, and many more activities. Today, in this post, I will tell you about the applications which can help you to create awesome animated videos without much effort. In this post, I will discuss two applications, and both of these applications will require different skills and gives different outputs. One application is for making 3D animations and another is for creating awesome 2D cartoon animations.

Applications for Creating Animation

Plotagon Story

Plotagon Story is a free application that can be installed on your smartphone. I personally used this app and found it more user-friendly. You can create 3D animations from this and can build characters, select places, can decide their position in the scene, add background sounds, and you can also give your own voice to the character by using the voiceover feature. Plotagon Story offers some free and paid resources for animation making. 

Requirements

As I said, there are some requirements you need to fulfill for creating awesome animated videos. In the case of Plotagon Story, you should have:

• Good scriptwriting skill with dialogues
• Creative mind to build characters
• Good knowledge about keywords related to emotions and actions

I can say that most of you guys have all these skills for using the Plotagon story. Plotagon Story can help you to make videos for your Youtube Channel, for preparing friendly tutorials, for guidance, for giving messages, or even for generating a movie version for your story.

Just like Plotagon Story, Flipaclip is also a free application but it is completely different in the case of user interface and options. This application is best for creating 2D animation clips which can be imported to your youtube videos or other platforms. If you love 2D animations then this is the app that can be used for creating awesome cartoon videos. You may need to use some other video editing tools to give finishing to your work.

Requirements

The requirements for using Flipaclip are opposite from Plotagon Story. To use Flipaclip, you should have:

• Good drawing (Major requirement) because it does not have any features like inbuild characters, you have to draw your own characters and scenes
• Knowledge about frames per second or FPS rate like 10fps, 12fps, etc.
• Have patience because you have to draw every frame on your own using a pen

If you are not good at drawing then you can start with making cartoons using shapes and take help from Youtube for improving your work. There is an option of Onion layer which will guide the animator to draw a new frame by connecting with the previous one so it will be easy for him. This application is user-friendly for the person who is good at sketching and drawing.
